Hubbell SNAPConnect adds Single Receptacles to their offering
Wednesday, August 02, 2017

Hubbell Wiring Device-Kellems is pleased to announce the addition of Single Receptacles to the SNAPConnect® line of modular wiring devices. SNAPConnect® devices provide customers with improved installation flexibility and reduced labor through a modular connector design. The SNAPConnect® family of devices includes standard and hospital grade receptacles, GFCI receptacles, USB charger outlets, switches and a three-in-one tester for a more comprehensive solution set.

Hubbell SNAPConnect® single receptacles are constructed of abuse-resistant nylon making these ideal for extra-heavy-use applications, such as commercial, healthcare, construction, education, and hospitality environments. By eliminating screw terminals on the device, the SNAPConnect® modular wiring device system installs without the need for a calibrated tool to measure for proper terminal screw torque.

Available in a variety of colors, the single receptacles are offered in standard, tamper-resistant and hospital grade versions in 15A or 20A. The single receptacles come with a Fed-Spec U.L. listing or a Fed-Spec/Hospital Grade U.L. listing.

“Ideal for high-volume installations like hospitals, hotels, universities, office complexes and multi-family dwellings, Hubbell’s new Single SNAPConnect® Receptacle enables our customers to improve installation efficiency and increase productivity in a wider range of applications,” says Roy Itzler, director of industrial marketing for Hubbell Wiring Device-Kellems. “With SNAPConnect®, our customers can save more than three minutes installation time per device, and devices can be easily changed out by contractors or maintenance personnel.”
